I found it very refreshing that they didn't use an overplayed laugh track, almost rare for a Disney sitcom. They let the jokes speak for themselves. It's like a live action Loud House series, and they both debuted in 2016.
  • Sitcoms sure do like the word middle. 1.) Malcolm in the Middle 2.) The Middle 3.) Stuck in the Middle
  • @Spiritx1992
"If my family was a week, I'd be Wednesday." Netflix understood the assignment
  • @reannagordon
Jenna Ortega and Olivia Rodrigo are probably one of the last modern Disney Channel stars to actually find success outside of the Disney Channel bubble. You guys keep mentioning Zendaya and Selena etc. but they left Disney Channel a long time ago. I’m talking RECENTLY.
  • @trinaq
I love that in the very first episode, Harley compared herself to Wednesday, as the middle child. Cut to six years later, and she's literally Wednesday! Also, her mother is a yellow ranger, and her youngest sister was Sasha in the Barbie movie!
  • Boy, what a fun show. The plight of the middle child was so well done and Jenna Ortega killed it
  • @galactictac
I feel proud that I knew Jenna Ortega before Wednesday was a thing.
  • @OwlBard
The casting director for Wednesday HAD to be watching this show at some point, that's an insane coincidence.
  • @AnilKumar-hl1oy
At this point instead of watching these shows and netflix movies..I just watch Alex's videos about them and feel fulfilled
  • @swissgoat4981
I'm surprised you didn't mention the youngest daughter is becoming a bit of an up and comer herself having been in some of the biggest films ever. She played kid Gamora in the MCU and she was the angsty pre-teen girl in Barbie
  • Watching Jenna Ortega say I’m Wednesday has convinced me we indeed live in a matrix.
  • @bunz794
"if my family were a week i'd be Wednesday" she quite literally proved that herself by being wednesday
  • @murderman8578
Can we appreciate that the cinematography isn't like the standard disney sitcom
  • @funwitharts4825
I actually loved this show I mean it wasn't a big show or anything but this is the type of show to watch on the weekend when you have no plans and you just want to watch a good show.
  • @drxzy2
alex is deadass one of the best show critics
  • @ayla710
I used to love Stuck in the Middle, so I’m super happy you made a video on it!!
  • @trinaq
Please do a review on Andi Mack. It was mature compared to most Disney sitcoms, and they tackled tough subjects in a gentle way never once talking down to their target audience.
  • @tylopez5425
4:35 OMG, did Jenna Ortega really just predict her own show😂😂😂
