This is one of the primary reasons why I want a DR or a DRZ so I can hit back roads and explore and even maybe find a dirt trail and go bonkers, or just to be a real corn field cruiser. Great video man this was probably my favorite motovlog ever.

I'm sittin here trying to commit to buying a DRZ... You might have sold me.

You feel exactly like I do about the DRZ, awesome bikes. I got a 2013 SM, and I love it! Subbed.

As a guy that rode a 2nd GEN Hayabusa for years, you are making me almost ready to get this bike and start modifications! I haven’t been riding in quite a few years actually since being married, I appreciate your content bro! Thanks It’s always funny as the Busa was so big it could trigger the lights like a car 😂

Great video, demo's the real sound of the bike on the road. Thanks for posting this.

when I purchased my DRZ from the older gentlemen, man seemed really upset about selling it . He needed money for daughter's car . Now I understand how much fun this bike is . Also great bike for beginner's to get basics of riding skills on and off road . Build confidence in turns , hills , sand , anywhere . Makes you better rider over all. Mine is S model and it really supersized me how quick you can be around corners and ride hard on roads , even with knobies :))))

I got my 22 drz in July, commute on it to work 30 miles round trip a day. 8 miles of freeway rest is side roads. I love it, city life so it’s really flat you got nice scenery there. I’m coming up on 900 miles right now

I own a 2020 DRZ400SM and have been thinking about selling it because I recently purchased a third bike, an MT-07. I also own an SV650. I didn’t intend on owning more than two bikes. But I know if I sell my DRZ, I will regret it. Great vid! Thank you for sharing.🙂👍🏿

Great positive review of the DRZ and your sounds so sick and picks up so easily. Mine is 16yrs old now (UK so not had them over here for 15yrs) and 13k miles but even though bone stock she still runs really well and as you say the perfect bike to just hop on and get lost for a couple of hours.
  • I’m from Alabama, but my mom and dad met at a family reunion in Kentucky. 😂
  • @huskee4265
I got about 600 miles on mine so far and I am loving it. 🏍💨💨💨
  • Man I had a dr200 and that shit was fun a little small for me since at 6ft and 215lb but at the time I bought it I just wanted something for the trails . But like you said these things are reliable! I had mine parked for 1 year and she started right up . Me personally I live the simplicity of the carburetor. 😅 but anyway I been looking for a drz400 cause I got the itch to ride a supermoto 😊.

I’m jealous of your Kentucky roads man. I’m still trying to learn how to wheelie So I could be a hooligan out on the streets🥴
  • @CainSample
Hey buddy do you have a switch to turn off your lights when riding? Ive been wanting tovdo that on my drz
  • @MM-ig1iv
Looks good enough for me! I was seriously thinking about the Rally. But they aren't in stock. I'd have to wait 3 months and put 10%down to get it. And I don't mind the older style. I'm glad they still make a old/new version of something!? And don't mind a carb, the option to put on a Kickstarter.. and it's got better take off power I hear than the Rally. And for the price will be about the same. So I might just end up with one soon enough.

What exhaust are you running? Sounds great! I'm looking at a used 2019 400 sm now. The bike has pretty much every upgrade I would do already, except for the exhaust. It still has the stock pipe. I love your pipe sound. Any tips would be appreciated 👍
  • You should do a video on the pair valve removal and block off, I have a 2023 drz400sm coming in and would love one of your videos to show me how to do it
