Turns out mark was right in the end, she couldn't read the room. He proved his point right there.
  • @BeyondPostal
After she said "I'll take it" all excited, then he says "I'm not doing it" I had to re-watch that 10X. I never felt so much second hand embarrassment before.
  • @sashatv382
She not only didn’t “read the room”, she didn’t listen. Robert said, he didn’t want to negotiate but she continued to counter his offer, not once but twice!🤷🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️
  • @samassefa8579
Mark: Your challenge is not reading the room Robert: Mark that is not fair Robert: Oh Mark you were so right
  • @stooch66
He didn’t get insulted. He simply figured out that she wasn’t what he thought she was. He made an offer and made it clear he wasn’t negotiating. She didn’t accept that and pushed it and he realized she would not be the partner he wanted. Done. Just business.

Are we not going to talk about how Kevin said “well I’m the target investor” after she said he’s “not the target consumer” 💀
  • @JohnWickz793
That made Kevin’s day when Robert said I’m not going to do it 😂😂😂
  • @miexul3305
I lost it when Mark said read the room in the last few seconds. Hilarious, and he's exactly right. Nobody else was in and Robert was barely doing it even though he hates sweets.
  • @noir289
I love the look on Kevin's face when she started to negotiate saying 'Would you do..." because he knew she was gonna talk herself out of a deal. Having to give up 5% more then you wanted to isn't that bad, ESPECIALLY with Robert so she really dug her own grave
  • @spornge
I simply love Robert and Mark they are both so shrewd as investors and so kind as people

The super excited “alright, I’ll take it!” Only to be shut down gave me so much second hand embarrassment, I felt so bad for her but she was warned by both Robert and Mark that she had to read the room and that there would be no negotiations.
  • @MAGAprincess
The excitement on Kevin's face when Robert said he wasn't going to do it- literally made me chuckle! 😆☝️
  • @maksatosmon
FYI, even if she accepted the offer, it’s not guaranteed the deal would’ve been closed. Robert has one of the highest rates of deal fallouts in Shark Tank.
  • I love how Mark looks at entrepreneurs in this situation, these situations tell you a lot about the person on the tank. It’s almost like a game of chess and he’s looking to see what their next move will be.
  • @samgao
Robert only came back in because he didn't think Mark was right/fair about Sabeena not reading the room. Purely an emotional decision on his end because he wanted to prove Mark wrong. But in the end, Mark is never wrong lol...
  • Never seen a counter backfire like that, Robert really stood his ground
  • @whatsadog2445
I wonder what they felt was wrong here, because she didn't seem as bad as many others. Like, why did they take "You're not the target consumer" as an insult? It's the truth, it's not like she called him old. Products have targets.
  • @mikeyshanghai9801
Actually, it may not be that bad for her to miss out on Robert’s deal. If Robert cannot add any expertise or guidance to this business at all (he basically said that), then why should she reduce her valuation for him (keeping in mind that the $3M valuation she offered to the sharks was already 50% discounted off the $6M valuation she got when she raised funds last time). If her business doesn’t have a cash flow problem at the moment and continues to do well, I’m sure she can raise another $500K fairly easily at a favorable valuation to her.
  • @timgeurts
"You're too good it's annoying, just be a lil insecure and impressed by us instead"
  • off topic but i've seen this product at SO many supermarkets and grocery stores in california so it seems like it's been very successful! good for her.
