PART TIME DEMIGOD, Kanye West, has managed to defy the odds with the borrowed time he has on this planet, however, the journey it took to find this will nearly cost him his life. His legacy continues through sound and sneakers, crafting some of the most influential music of our era by breaking barriers with his unique sound choice and punchy verses, but with the ego driven persona he’s accustomed to today, has caused many conversations to be brought up about mental health in American society, sacrificing legacy for impact. Despite controversy, he’s still praised for his role in paving the way for many hip-hop and pop artists we know today, ultimately solidifying his name in the history books as one of the GOATS!

In a descriptive video essay I review Kanye West's discography in areas I find important, such as: audio production, psychology, marketing strategies, social status, personality and much more. In this biography I compose my opinions from facts along with elements of humor and satisfaction, justifying the reasons I find him a genius.

"For Kanye West, dying without a legacy was unacceptable" LITERAL CHILLS
  • The most dangerous thing about kanye west is the fact that he's a genius and he knows this
  • The way his mom memorized one of his songs was proof she loved him beyond measures 🙏
  • I’m so relieved to see that many of us know what Kanye is really trying to do.
  • this honestly made me kinda sad. Kanye has been through so much and the media is always trying to make him look bad. the day he passes away imma cry so fucking much. Kanye really a goat

bro the things kanye went through especially in front of the whole world, he's a very important figure and i pray to God he finds peace.

What sets kanye apart from every single artist today, he is human. He triumphs, he fails, he grows, he breaks down. All other artists go through a filter, if you do see their bad side, it's far from their worst. When kanye falls, we get front row tickets. When he rises, it's a spectacle for the world to see. It's what's made his journey so remarkable. God Bless Kanye. May the future shine bright on him
  • Cried. His mom really was his rock, and she is even now. All the outbursts and confused ranting make sense. I always knew there was more than just "he's crazy" even though I'm not much of a follower. It's easy to see another human broken by life and its unfortunate events when you've been there. I have been hearing about Kanye a lot in recent years but this video has enlightened me far and beyond what anyone else had ever said to me. Thank you. I'm now more interested in Ye than I ever been.

The relationship he had with his mother was something I have never seen before especially on the documentary. He never interrupted her, he never spoke over her, he took it all in and his mother would say his name a lot which is an excellent form of communication it releases dopamine and the other feel good chemicals in the brain. This burst of excitement makes people happy and sends unconscious signals such as empathy, trust, and compassion to the unconscious brain. They were so comfortable around each other she knew all of his lyrics. Music can be so deep and it's the ultimate form of expression and he didn't feel judged by Donda and she got to know him on a completely different level which is so rare it would be like letting your parents read your journal or your deep and meaningful conversations on social media. He didn't feel judged by her and she loved them all, Donda is his number one fan! When one of them started to smile the other would contagiously. They would rap together and it was pure sunshine and happiness Hey Mama in the kitchen. I get the feeling his mother was beautiful inside and out. This special and vital relationship was just ripped away he still needed her. He will never get over it and I lost my father last year in a way that will leave me asking why for the rest of my life. So I feel for him so much. I am glad he is still gifting us with his stunning music. I really hope that one day he will get his pure sunshine smile back

This man has never been the same after losing his MOM! The relationship with him & her was very special the respect he has for his mom was magic. losing your mother is like living in a Black hole! nobody knows what that feels like until you have to go through it.
  • @edgorious
It's not often that you get to witness parents that are able to better themselves and totally commit to enriching their kids life at the same time. Ms Donda was one of them and Kanye paid attention to what she said cause she got him used to hearing positivity coming out of her mouth, even her criticism was constructive.
  • I can only imagine the amount of time it takes to research, script and watch all of this footage to compile it into a cohesive video essay, thank you for your time and effort, a wonderful video!
  • @krtk.19
"the man just misses his mother" great video 👏🏻
  • @susamogus1342
i feel like this was a amazing documentary but you did not explain the amount of pressure that was on kanye before mbdtf and how his career was on the line.
  • @daviddoner7316
this video legit got me crying. Great work man, great work!!
  • "If you are a fan of Kanye West, you are not a fan of me. You are a fan of yourself" - Ye Call me crazy, but Kanye West is our modern music icon. I'm so amazed on how he shaped modern music especially hip-hop/rap scene today. Proud fan of Ye not just because of his music, but his personality always reminds me of myself and Ms. Donda reminds me more of my mom.
  • @MindOfCrim
This should be on hulu or something. Much respect for putting this all together, the world needs to see this.
  • This man is so talented, he knows it but the industry doesn't care. He is simply too good for the music industry. They do not appreciate talent.
