Powers! (Yes, they have powers!)
Cervimards can be born with powers, however these powers are not your traditional sort of firebending or psychic abilities.
Cervimard powers ARE NOT EXTERNAL!
What does this mean? Well, it means that cervimards can only alter someone's PERCEPTION of something, without changing the actual objective conditions of what's being observed.
Here's an example. Chinook is supposed to have temperature based abilities. However, he CANNOT fire or icebend. (but that doesn't mean he couldn't learn!)
What Chinook CAN do, however, is he can make you (or poor Kordis) FEEL cold or hot, but he doesn't actually change the temperature.
(There’s usually an indicator that shows they’re using their powers!)

Examples
Loading has the ability to take over anyone's vision with his signature black and magenta checkerboard pattern!
Draven has the ability to make himself invisible!
To activate their powers,Cervimards have the ability to sense the presence of other living things within a certain radius of distance. They pick out whatever presence they want to inflict their effects on to by focusing on their chosen presence.
This tendency also makes it nearly impossible to hide from a cervimard without moving - They can always tell you're there, just not specifically where!
Another thing Cervimards can do is they can project their powers onto objects. It's kind of like their own custom Minecraft enchantments! It is taxing to inflict these projections in the moment, though once the process is finished the projections stay forever.
Loading can make his weapons hurt more, especially contracting splitting headaches and temporarily heightened nerve sensitivity to any tissue that gets too close to it. This is because his power is SUPPOSED to hurt!
Chinook could make a stick that makes everyone within a certain radius feel cold if he wanted to!
Conclusion
That's about it! Cervimards will always be an open species :)
There's lots of flexibility in designs, so I hope everyone finds something that resonates with them!
