Each Pokémon has anywhere from 2 to 4 different movesets which complement its distinct role: as a sweeper or staller.
All Pokémon are randomized every time you hit the flag.
Features:
Added attack effects, abilities, entry hazards, status conditions, STAB, critical hits, flinching, stat boost system with all seven stats, weather and much more.
Subtleties:
~ Critical hits bypass negative stat changes, Reflect
and Light Screen.
~ Sandstorms raise the sp. defense stat of Rock type
Pokémon.
~ Solar Beam, Thunder and Blizzard are influenced by
the weather.
~ The enemy KNOWS how to use strategic moves ;)
NSFAQs (Not So Frequently Asked Questions):
1. Why does Sunny Castform's Weather Ball do abysmally low damage to Snorlax despite being a powerful attack boosted by STAB and sunlight?
Ans: Well, Snorlax is super 'tanky', with high HP and sp. defense. Also, its ability, Thick Fat, halves damage from Fire-Type moves!
2. Why did Salamence's Intimidate increase Shuckle's attack instead of decrease it?
Ans: Shuckle's ability, Contrary, reverses stat changes!
3. How did Ludicolo suddenly outspeed my Pokémon?
Ans: After setting up a Rain Dance, Ludicolo's Swift Swim doubles its speed! The same applies for Chlorophyll on Sunflora and Vileplume once they use Sunny Day!
4. Wait, why does Shedinja have only 1 HP?
Ans: Being a super-gimmicky Pokémon, it makes up for its absurdly low health with its amazing ability. Watch out for Spikes and Stealth Rock though ;-;
5. Why can't I barely dent Shuckle after a few turns?
Ans: Contrary Shuckle + 6 Shell Smashes + Sandstorm = 3684 sp. defense and 2456 defense.
6. Why did Ursaring outspeed me after I paralyzed it? Shouldn't paralysis make it slower?
Ans: Actually, due to Ursaring's Quick Feet ability, Paralysis makes it faster!
This took me MONTHS to code, so be sure to hit that ❤ button!!
