Woo, this took a while. I added a ton of little details in the wood, and I'm happy.
This is a pile of rubble.
This pile of rubble happens to be held together by a confused and rather irritated soul.
There are a ton of similar monstrosities that roam that forest, this one is just a little less scary, a little less mean and a bit more delicate. Every one of them construct/pull together a makes a body of this rubble.
It can't remember anything about its former life, but when exposed to places/objects it had interacted with while human, it gains a tiny flash of memory. The 'heart' of the rubble is often an item which the person had treasured, and is the first thing it recognizes. This particular soul has a heart of a stopwatch and an affinity for broken glass and bottles.
I'd get into it's backstory a little more but it might get flagged as NFE (Not for everyone)
