Today's band of the day is Deftones! They're are an AWESOME rock/alternative metal band from Sacramento, California. The band formed in 1988. So far they have released 6 albums. The most recent being "Diamond Eyes," which was released this year. Deftones is currently on tour supporting this album. Unfortunately though their bassist Chi Cheng was in a car accident in 2008. This accident left him in acoma therefore unable to play. He is now in a semi-conscious state which is better than before. He is getting better though which is great! Because of this Deftones has a temporary replacement bassist, Sergio Vega. Deftones, like said before, are on tour currently. I'M GOING TO GO SEE THEM IN FEBUARY! :D I CAN'T WAIT! :D
