Band/Artist of the day: Slayer

Today's band of the day is Slayer. This band is one of my most favorite bands. All (real) metal fans out there know that Slayer is AWESOME! Slayer is a Thrash Metal band from Huntington Park, California. They were formed in 1981. Slayer, Megadeth, Metallica, and Anthrax are considered the "Big Four" for thrash metal bands. Slayer has released 11 albums so far. The most recent album is "World Painted Blood," which was released last year.
