Garlic Pepper Steak

1 lb ribeye or thick-cut steak 2 tbs oyster sauce 1 tbs butter, softened 2 tsp crushed garlic Salt and pepper for seasoning Olive oil (enough to just cover the bottom of a skillet) 1. Slice a pocket into the side of the steak. 2. Heat the olive oil in a skillet on medium-high heat. 3. Put the butter and oyster sauce into the pocket. 4. Coat one side of the steak with crushed garlic, then liberally season with salt and pepper. 5. Pan-fry the steak for 4 minutes seasoned side down. 6. Season the other side of the steak with salt and pepper, then turn over. 7. Pan-fry for another 4 minutes.
