I would like to thank you for dropping by to (hopefully) learn something new! My goal is to share with you as much of my knowledge pertaining to gardening, not just in an urban environment where I currently reside, but wherever you may find yourself able grow and harvest your own vegetables.

In 1995, I created the Crescent Ridge Dawn Redwoods Preserve, and am now considered by many to be the world's leading authority on the incredibly beautiful and critically-endangered dawn redwood. Over the past few decades, I have observed how things grow, die and eventually break down into rich organic humus. This is all very important in understanding how your garden grows; as gardens and a forest essentially work in many of the same ways.
