During WWII, lights out was mandatory to prevent bombing at night. Citizens surrender their silver for the war effort & conformed to food & fuel rations, making do or do without.
We're simply asked to stay home, or at least away from crowded venues like fuckin' bars & family attractions where snotty nosed kids & germy adults exit restrooms w/o toilet paper or soap while avoiding speedy powerchairs, strollers and cancerous sunburns. We're simply asked to spend more time with our sperm receptacles, be parents to our obnoxious offspring & listen to stories repeated by our aging parents. We're asked to interact with our distant family & friends for a change by calling them.
We're asked to not congregate half naked among throngs at Spring Break, sucking tequila from an anonymous thong wearing girl's bellybutton. We have TV & internet, whereas during WWII, most didn't have shit, except maybe a radio in theliving room. We're being asked these things in order for OTHERS NOT TO DIE!
