Papa Jon is the unpaid caretaker at 'The Isle of Misfit Pets' animal shelter where we care for those creatures that were once vowed to before God to be loved forever and then kicked to the curb like yesterday's unwanted trash because they became old, sick, injured, or just unwanted. That describes me as well...

-jp is also the resident grunt at "Pioneer at the Dump," a site dedicated to PJs who volunteered to go toe to toe with the Angel of Death with mottos in their hearts and tattoos saying: "You can't have him, this one is mine", "Anytime - Anyplace", "So Others May Live", "Even Special Operators Need to Call 911 at times," and has a pair of bare feet tattooed on his bum which signify something I pray you'll never need and a growing selection of cyborg body parts.

At the dump we repair, reuse, repurpose, and ultimately recycle 'stuff' that probably should have been left at the dump in the first place but it keeps me off the street and I hate to give up...
