The No Fly Zone in the White Sea was right where the Dmitri Donskoy was located. The Dmitri Donskoi (TK-208) is aTyphoon class nuclear submarine outfitted with Bulava ICBMs. The RSM-56 Bulava is a new generation of ICBMs being tested by Russia. The terrestrial version is called RT-2UTTH Topol.

The sight of the spiral from Tromsø is DIRECTLY aimed at FLIGHT PATH from a White Sea launch as evidenced here: youtube.com/watch?v=1GSa2wRtZRI

The missile being tested is a RSM-56 Bulava. Total burn time, 3 minutes (First stage: 60 sec. - 2nd Stage: 64 sec. - 3rd Stage: 56 sec.). Total event duration in Norway: 3 minutes.

The spiral itself, under a minute. 3rd Stage burn time: 56 seconds.

There are other videos on youtube of similar events happening before, and after the Norway spiral showing similar behavior.

in Tomsk: youtube.com/watch?v=Jvs_anud2ws
in China: youtube.com/watch?v=7egjgQEriBM
in Russia: youtube.com/watch?v=9IFLH8GzQh4

Also for the "portal" opening as the tin foil hat crowd says, check this launch

in the US: youtube.com/watch?v=YbsIn5OtEMM
at around the 1:28 mark.

All of this makes the ICBM failure self-evident, we can see from past launches that this is just an ordinary ICBM failure. Admittedly the display in Tromsø was spectacular because it happened to be dead on the line of sight to see it up the exhaust so to speak when the 3rd stage started to spiral around.

Keep a cool head, seek the facts, discard the fairy tales and you will get the whole truth, that the Norway event was just a 3rd stage failure of the RSM-56 Bulava.

Addendum for the EISCAT tin foil hatters: Check their schedule on Dec. 9th, the Tromsø UHF wasn't even active that day... oops!
