About MedMicroBioMe

I left school with 2 GCSE's, which did not reflect a strong academic background. Despite this, I harboured a childhood dream of becoming a doctor and working for a humanitarian agency in that capacity. For a long time, nobody believed in my academic ability, myself included! It took years of healing work to realise the profound impact that childhood trauma had on my life, hindering my ability to function, let alone succeed. Then I met God! In 2019, I left my flight attendant career behind & at 33, took a courageous step; returning to education i started studying GCSE maths, followed by an Access to Higher Education: Science diploma. I am currently a 1st year student at a prestigious Russell Group university (what?! 😂), working towards my goal to become a U.N scientist, using my skills & knowledge to contribute to global health and humanitarian efforts - encouraging other generational curse breakers along the way!
