Forged from shadow, to protect the light.
Once we were many. Now we are few.
Either way, the light continues shining and where there is light there will always be darkness. That is why we were created. We dwell in that darkness, that shadow. We are not evil, we are not malevolent, we have invaded the shadows to purge them of such beings.
But now the world only sees us as another creature of the night to be feared. I do not blame them for this, but beware the light that moves in shadow. If it truly comes for you, that streak of blinding light against a veil of ever expanding darkness well be the last thing you ever see.
