I had created this account to collect favourites and to comment upon other members - in a way, practicing to express myself and thereby reflecting upon views.

My playlists express my lifelong interests and serve as a public archive.

Originally, I had intended to post short clips from movies or video documentations that resonated with me since spring of 2003 - the year of the US invasion of Iraq.
Alas, since 'fair use' as defined by the US Copyright Act of 1976 solely applies to corporate publishers, I lost faith and stopped my uploads.

I'm passionate about historiography and tend to explore paradigmatic topics like 'world trade', 'liberalism', 'nationalism', 'industrial revolution', 'social question', 'eastern question', 'world war', 'fascism' and 'federalism'.

I love traditional storytelling as well.

This social media account was a means to invite others to explore a diversity of opinion, but since all media has been aligned with the 'Voice of America', times have changed.
