I've loved chess for over 25 YEARS! I have my high school's record for MOST CHESS WINS (and most chess losses...), 12,000+ games on Chess.com, and a respectable rating that hovers between 1900 and 2000.

I have some strong opinions about the game:
1.) It should first and foremost be FUN!
2.) Losing is fine, especially when your opponent completely DESTROYS - it hurts but is cool to see.
3.) MEMORIZATION = BORING!! You'll see easily digestible ideas/concepts (read as SHORTCUTS) to help you not study a ton, but still see improvement.
