I am your host Yasheka Foster. This is my part of the internet world where I give perspective and insight ON LIFE!!!

The purpose of Hood-Parenting (TM) is to provide valuable and relatable parenting content from the perspective of suburban parents who have experience living in the inner city and many of those learnt SKILLs has helped them in their everyday LIFE.
The aim is to engage and connect with parents and young adults facing similar challenges and to establish a supportive and informative community.

I have a MA, Marriage & Family Counseling, BA Organizational Psychology, & a Certified Life Coach.

Along this JOURNEY Ive learned to combine my EDUCATION, lived EXPERIENCES & my Hood-Instincts to help guide me in this journey..through trauma, marriages, divorces, children, and the US Army.
