Music has called to me ever since I was a little boy, when I had a toy piano, toy accordion, toy clarinet, toy drums, and a toy guitar. At about 11 years old, I received my first real instrument, an ukelele. At 12, I graduated to guitar and also started teaching myself piano. My music of choice was Rock & Roll and Blues. But I used to enjoy listening to Greek music whenever I was at my grandparents' home. When I was 19, my yiayia (grandmother) brought me back my first bouzouki from Greece. At that point, my journey to play Greek music had begun. I have been playing professionally since I was 20. I won't tell you how old I am now, lol!
