Hi. I'm Shannan and this is my channel where I talk about what it means to me to live my life fully and value my differences. My interests include autism, gardening, houseplants, woodworking, reading, DIY, knitting, sewing, cooking, whiskey, running, fairy tales, myth, SFF, popular culture, cats, dogs, and sex and gender.

I have my PhD in Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies and a PhD certificate in Film and Media Studies. I study how and why people become interested in stories, symbols, and ideas that are not in their own best interests. I also write stuff and cohost a podcast called Once Upon a Patriarchy. I was diagnosed Autistic and ADHD - Inattentive type in 2022 at the age of 44.
